I think it would be very interesting to go back at the beginning and put Harry in the Slytherin house. I have always been intrigued by the idea tha J.K Rowling has basically applied that you are a product of the house you are in. I know that majority of the time this was the case, but I think it would be interesting to explore. Harry Potter is not my favorite character (ducks) and i think because he was treated with entitlement and that is what bugged me. Don't get me wrong i enjoyed his journey..but i thinnk if they put him in the Slytherin house then things might be shook up a bit. What do you think?

Hey Autumn, That sounds like a great idea. Why don't you decide how many people you'd like to join in, and I'll move this to the "Looking for Writers" board. Then you can write up a first post to include in the Harry Potter board. The fiction boards are generally supposed to be for the writing itself. You can discuss plots and ideas in the Looking for Writers board.

No problem! I gave it the funniest name I could think of. If you want I don't mind making the first post. Just the scene of him being sorted into Slytherin. I'll do it from another person's perspective, a random character, so you can be Harry or whoever. What do you think?

Thread posted! A lot is just background info about the character because she wasn't present until the fifth book, and there is no info given about her. I set it up nicely so that you can do Harry's sorting.
